Flower Bed Maintenance, Weeding & Shrub Care in Acworth, GA
Beds are where a yard looks cared for or looks neglected — there is no in between. Burnt Hickory keeps your beds weeded, your shrubs shaped and your borders clean, and we trim your bushes every single visit without charging you extra for the time it took.
Weeds handled every way that works
Georgia weeds come back three ways, so we fight them three ways — sprayed, string-trimmed, or pulled by hand, whatever the bed and the weed call for. We stay after them on the recurring schedule so they never establish.
Shrubs and bushes, every visit
Trey is, in his words, pretty psycho about the bushes getting done every time we come out. Shaping and trimming shrubs is part of the standard visit, not an add-on line item that shows up on your invoice.
Mulch and pine straw refreshed
We top off pine straw and mulch to keep beds looking finished and to hold moisture and choke out weeds through the hot months. Fresh straw in spring and fall makes the whole property read cared-for from the street.
01Do you charge extra to trim the bushes?
Never. Bushes and shrubs get trimmed every visit at no upcharge — it is part of the standard service, not an add-on.
02How do you handle weeds in the beds?
Whatever the bed needs — sprayed, string-trimmed, or pulled by hand. On a recurring schedule we stay after them so they never take hold.
03Can you refresh our mulch or pine straw?
Yes. We top off pine straw and mulch in spring and fall to keep beds finished, hold moisture and suppress weeds.
04Do you plant new shrubs and flowers too?
We do — see our gardens and planting service for full bed installs, new shrubs and seasonal color.
05Will weeding be included in my recurring visit?
Yes. On a weekly or biweekly plan, bed weeding and shrub trimming are part of every visit, not billed separately.
